No cut frame Sliders aren't a direct bolt on like as they often have bracket. You don't want it solid after a crash or didn't absorb any energy but merely transferred on to what bolted. You want them to stay attached but get beat up and take the energy.
Better the bolt bends. If your Slider shatters, grinds off or bends then it did its job. You want Deleon or plastic to touch down when crash as they will grind off and not catch on anything if hit hard enough direct shatter. Frame Sliders are the same way.
Also if it didn't bend might have flip the bike by snagging something. When f1 cars hit the side of a track they explode as don't want drive to absorb energy. A mangled frame Slider, but still on the bike, did its job.
If the bolt on a frame Slider bends that's good thing as only other option is to put energy or mounting point. Fitment: Honda Cbr 1000RR.
