1. **Reliability**: Honda is renowned for building robust and durable motorcycles. The CR250R, being a part of this legacy, is expected to be a reliable choice for off-road enthusiasts.
2. **Performance**: The CR250R is known for its speed and handling, making it an ideal choice for motocross racing and other off-road activities. The 2002-2007 models, in particular, were praised for their power and agility.
3. **Straight Threads Repairs**: The model with straight threads repairs indicates that the bike has been serviced, which can save potential buyers from the cost and hassle of immediate repairs.
**Cons:**1. **Age**: Motorcycles older than a decade can have hidden issues that may not be apparent during a test ride or visual inspection. Older parts may need to be replaced, which can add to the cost of ownership.
2. **Availability of Parts**: As the CR250R is no longer in production, finding replacement parts can be challenging and potentially expensive.
3. **Upgrades**: If you're looking for the latest features and technology, you may find them lacking in this model, as it is relatively old.
**Ending Conclusion:**Purchasing a Honda CR250R (50200-KSR-711) from the 2002-2007 range with straight threads repairs can be a good choice due to its reliability, performance, and the fact that some repairs have already been done. However, potential buyers should be aware of the challenges that come with owning an older motorcycle, such as potential hidden issues, difficulty in finding parts, and lack of modern features.
**Recommendation:**If you're interested in this model, I recommend a thorough inspection by a trusted mechanic, including a compression test and checking for any signs of wear or damage. Also, consider setting aside a budget for potential unexpected repairs or part replacements. If after careful consideration, you still decide that the CR250R is the bike for you, you could be in for an exciting and rewarding off-road riding experience.
Fits 2002 thru 2007 CR250R two strokes. I ship worldwide. It looks straight looking at it while taking these pictures. It looked straight on the bike back when I took it off to keep as a backup subframe.
The CR125R subframe is not the same as it does have second rear mounting tab for longer CR250R silencer. It shows wear in different places as pointed out the pictures. Multiple parts numbers over the six years. All threaded holes are good.
No cracks, no repairs. This was a spare for bike that not needed. I have to custom cut a box fit this subframe for shipping.
